Definition:

“Amendments to Statement on Auditing Standards No. 72, Letters for Underwriters and Certain Other Requesting Parties” promulgated by the US Auditing Standards Board. Provides guidance to accountants who issue Comfort Letters to underwriters and other requesting parties.
